After the Transaction

John Kinney received a military leave 6 days after he completed his transaction. He did not get injured during the time he served in Africa. His parents were relieved and
happy to welcome their son back home.

The foundations

Almost a week after return, Mr. Kinney and his beautiful wife, Mary, created the Smaller War Plants Corporation (SWPC). Under the general’s supervision of the War Production Board, by an act of June 11, 1942 (56 Stat. 351). This led the way to a prosperous career for the young couple.
